For the Office of President - Basketball Division
The president shall be the principal executive officer of the sub-corporation. Subject to the direction and control of the board of directors, he or she shall be in charge of the business and affairs of the sub-corporation: he or she shall see that the resolution and directives of the board of directors are carried into effect except in those instances in which that responsibility is assigned to some other person by the board of directors: and, in general, he or she shall discharge all duties incident to the office of president and such other duties as may be prescribed by the board of directors. He or she shall preside at all meetings of the board of directors.

For the Office of Vice-President of Meetings and Planning Basketball Division
The Vice President will coordinate, along with, but not limited to, the other sport specific officers, all activities involved within the specific sport membership meetings, including, but not limited to, facilities, topics, speakers, guests, times, dates and meeting content.

For the office of Vice-President - Human Relations/Social Activities - Basketball Division
The Vice President will coordinate, along with, but not limited to, the other sport specific officers, all activities involved within the specific sport membership, including, but not limited to, all events concerning individual members including promotions, honors, acknowledgements, family events(including births and deaths), and social activities and event planning.

For the office of Vice-President - Clinics/Top 15 Voting - Basketball Division
The Vice President will coordinate, along with, but not limited to, the other sport specific officers, all activities involved within the specific sport membership, including, but not limited to, clinics and camps. In addition, oversee the Top 15 committee and all duties associated within the Top 15 voting.

For the office of Vice-President - Education/Rules Interpretation - Basketball Division
The Vice President will coordinate, along with, but not limited to, the other sport specific officers, all activities involved within the specific sport membership, including, but not limited to, educational materials, videos, rule books, equipment, and rules interpretation as set forth by the IHSA.

For the office of Treasurer - Basketball Division
The treasurer shall be the principal accounting and financial officer of the corporation. He or she shall: (a) have charge of and be responsible for the maintenance of adequate books of account for the corporation; (b) have charge and custody of all funds and securities of the corporation, and be responsible therefore, and for the receipt and disbursement thereof; and (c) perform all the duties incident to the office of treasurer and such other duties as from time to time may be assigned to him or her by the president or by the board of directors. If required by the board of directors, the treasurer shall give a bond for the faithful discharge of his or her duties in such sum and with such surety or sureties as the board of directors shall determine.
For the office of Secretary - Basketball Division

The Secretary shall: (a) record the minutes of the meetings of the board of directors in one or more books provided for that purpose; (b) see that all notices are duly given in accordance with the provisions of these by-laws or as required by statute (c) be a custodian of the corporate records and of the seal of the corporation: and (d) perform all duties incident to the office of secretary and such other duties as from time to time may be designated to him or her by the president or by the board of directors.

For All Members
please nominate a new name for our association. There will be an election process the week of March 15 to select a new association name based on the nominations we receive.

For All Basketball Members
please nominate those members that you feel could lead our association to the next level for the seven (7) open officer positions. Those nominated will have the opportunity to accept or decline the nomination. There will be an election process the week of March 15 to select these officers.
Remember this is just the nomination process not the election. Your nominations are truly anonymous You are not required make any nominations. Based on the nominations received, we will contact those individuals and confirm they wish to be placed on the ballot for the actual election the week of March 15.
